As it has already been stated, you get what you earn. If you are are a good sponsor you can expect a good rating. Now being a good sponsor doesn't necessarily mean that you pander to every situation that your affiliates face but it does mean that you set the pace by your example of leadership.
When your affiliates ask you for help then you should give it liberally and without obligation. Good sponsors offer a newsletter with tips and strategies. They regularly send team mail. They don't micromanage their team. They allow for individual preference. They don't mandate rules and encumber affiliates with tons of links, resources, and recommendations. The are the epitome of excellence in everything they do.
So where the rubber meets the road, if you sponsor is doing these things rate them a 10. I know, 5 is the highest rating. Judge accordingly and rate responsibly. Remember you have team too and you are under the same scrutiny as a leader. Never just deride your sponsor or upline - you wouldn't want that treatment from your team. Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you.
