I'm sorry but in this my answer will have to be negative because by whatever yardstick i could use, my sponsor is a hopeless case. She has the appropriate buzzwords like 'team' and 'duplication' on her leadership pages and she has 'I'm here to help' sprinkled here and there but I suppose she got a hand from her sponsor in setting those up (they share the same family name so I assume they are related). However, those are all just hollow words because there certainly is no teamwork, encouragement, help, or communication of any sort. Let's not even talk about duplication because I wouldn't want to duplicate just about anything she does - except having me as an affiliate.
So I suppose you might think I should rate her as low as possible? But I don't because I don't want to let negativity flavor my actions. I try to look at things positively instead. Let me put it this way. If I judge and rate her for the sponsorship she performs then she really would rate the lowest possible score. However, she is doing a marvelous job of being an excellent example of how NOT to be a sponsor and for that useful role she rates at the very top. So I average the positive and the negative and give her a 3 which is right in the middle.
So allow me to flip this whole question around and suggest that your sponsorship rating is not all that critical by whatever yardstick you choose to use. If your sponsor is a poor one like mine, then they likely won't care what you rate them as or change due to your rating. The much better measurement is to rate how your success oriented performance is affected either positively or negatively by your sponsor's actions or lack of actions and adjust yourself accordingly.
