Versa Points appear to reset to zero at the end of every month as a rule of business practise for the following reasons. 1. For proper accounting purpose in payment of commission and 2. To monitor and measure the level of activities of affiliates.
It is for these reasons also that affiliates are made to set GOALS for the month at the beginning of every month. The Scoreboard reflects the 3 categories of VP recording thus.

VP you've earned so far today (0 SVP/0 AVP)
Earning of VP starts with the day’s actions and at the end of the day, it reset to 0 and what you earn for that day is moved to the earned VP for that month which is usually stated. At the end of the month also, earned VPs are moved to VP earned to date and you can check details through the link - so your earned VP is not lost. Just as we start the day’s action on a clean slate, so also we start the Month’s action on a clean slate. This is the proper accounting.
With this we are all encouraged to take more actions just as the VP emblem reflects – score more earn more. This helps to monitor and measure our activities through our daily, weekly and monthly actions.
