Let your team members know that:
1- This is a business venture. In every business there is a time frame set, IE; weekly, biweekly or monthly, to calculate all of their profits, loss, inventory etc. After all calculations are made, then the money goes out to where it needs to and the business makes a new plan to improve on the next rotation.
For us in SFI, it is the same basic principle. We work on our business. SFI does the calculations. SFI pays out the commissions. Then, afterwards, we set our goals to achieve for the next month.
2- Just like in any business, the time period resets to better calculate the new plan implementations, loss inventory, loss EE's etc.
The same goes for us in SFI. The Versa Points are reset for the same reasons a business resets their pay period. Team members that were not active may become active. Maybe they were active then became inactive. Team members may also cancel/create new purchased items from TripleClicks.
All in all, there are a lot of reasons that could be explained. They reset to give all of us a level playing field. To set goals and do everything we need to to reach these goals.
As well as, if SFI left the VP's and did not reset them; it would be very difficult to track one's progress. Team Members that become inactive would reap rewards for actions they did not accomplish the next month.
