I honestly think there is no winning strategy other than to just play. It's like calling a flipped coin. One strategy is to call heads while the other strategy promotes predicting a tails outcome. With card king the element of chance is modified by the value of the card - if it's a high card then the odds are the next one will be lower and vice versa. What I'm saying here is that you should just go with your gut instinct and just play it - and that in itself is the guaranteed winning strategy.
To be absolutely certain of a win, you need only keep playing and a win will certainly come. That win might not be in the current game, or the next or even the next after that but as sure as the lord made little apples, your win will come because you're still playing.
Come to think of it, that philosophy makes the zebra game of card king an example of what you can say to your affiliates to keep them from quitting. SFI itself is like card king. You should not get frustrated at not winning every game, you simply have to keep playing and then you can be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN of winning eventually.
