Hello Rania!
Whether I will send messages to my PSAs through SFI or directly to their email address greatly depends on the content of the message I am sending.
1. If I am sending a welcome message to a PSA, I send it through every possible service I can use, because new affiliates are confused and easily oversee their received messages.
2. If I am sending weekly newsletter or important information that needs to be shared with my whole team, I normally use PSA Mailer, or even Genealogy Group Mailer when my whole downline needs to be included.
3. If I am addressing one particular PSA I usually send him a message using SFI Team Mail. If he is online, I may use SFI IM service instead.
4. If I need to send instructions to my PSA(s), e.g. image files, PDF files, links to a video tutorial on YouTube or any kind of attachment, I always use email service and send messages directly to their email address.
5. If your PSAs agree with it, you can also use Facebook chat, Skype, Viber, WhatsApp, etc. for staying in touch on a more regular basis. You can even use your Mobile SMS or MMS servise.
So, as long as the mean of communication is available to both you and your PSAs and as long as it is effective, it doesn't matter through what service you are sending your message. SFI provided us with many great ways to communicate with our downlines: Team Mail, PSA Mailer, CSA Mailer, Genealogy Group Mailer, SFI IM service, E-cards. There are also many fast and effective ways to stay in touch with our PSAs outside of SFI. What matters the most is that you do establish a contact and keep it active, that you send clear and valuable messages to your PSAs and that they receive messages, understand them and absorb all the important information.
Hope my answer is helpful. Best regards.
