I use both and can not say one is better than the other. Sometimes I create an article and send it to my team instead of writing it out and doing a lot of cut and paste to make it individualized. This is where there emails come in handy to attach the PDF.
The PSA mailer comes in handy when I need to alert the team to something, send an ecard, to inform, congratulate, tips, or birthdays, anniversaries or anything else celebratory.
I also like to send an SFI newsletter to inform them of changes, ECA's, advertising tips, sponsoring tips, inspiring motivation etc. at least once a month and I use their email to attach the newsletter.
I will admit although my words sound great it can get a little humdrum doing all this because you would never guess I do all this for my team if you would look at my team's individual VP ledgers so take this advice and keep doing what you're doing. Never ever give up. Take a break, but don't give up. Persistence and determination is what success is actually made of. Focus on who you. What you're doing, saying, teaching. Never stop learning!
