Hello Michael!
In your first email to new affiliates you should include these kinds of information:
1. Introduction - Tell your affiliates who you are, your rank, how long have you been in SFI, why did you join and how did SFI change your life.
2. Benefits and perks - Briefly inform them about the most important benefits of the SFI business, such as being able to work from your home, being able to work as much or as little as you want, being able to control how much money you can or want to invest in your business, being paid by Payoneer Master Card or Pay Pal, free training, etc.
3. Give guidelines - Tell your affiliates what they can do in their first days in SFI. Tell them to check out their To-do list and start doing the Getting Started Actions. Also, point them to daily and weekly actions. Tell them to read SFI Basics and Launchpad Lessons. Tell them about the T-Time game. Inform them about the Fast Track. Just don't go too deep into details, because they will be confused and might get scared off. So, no excess information, your guidelines should be only on the need-to-know basis.
4. Offer help - Tell your affiliates that you are there to help: now, when they start their business, but also throughout the whole journey. Make sure they understand that they can turn to you when they need a helping hand or support and that your success is only as big as the success of your team.
5. Give your contact information - Provide email address, Facebook profile, Twitter profile, Skype, whatever service you will use for your further communication.
So, basically, I believe that, in your first email to your new affiliates, other than providing guidelines for starting business, you should focus on establishing communication and building trust. The manner in which you will address your affiliates can differ and can and should be unique to you. Whether you will use humor, or make it sound strictly professional, or somewhere in between, it's up to you. But I believe that, in whatever way you greet your affiliates, every first email should contain these five ingredients.
Hope this answer is helpful. Best regards.
