I don't believe there are any differences on how to approach prospective ECAs in any country. Whether it is a store owner or a person wanting to make extra income, I believe this is a dream of every person in all countries.
My suggestion is that you read the training "ECA Training Guide" at:

This will answer all your questions and giving all the strategies you need as:
1) What you need to receive from business owners when talking with them in person.
I always ask for a business card. You can print out Flyers to distribute for free.
2) Mailing, E-mail, or text messages to confirm having spoken to individuals or
business owners .
3) You can use all the marketing products from your Marketing tab at:

4) TripleClicks has Business Cards, ECA Brochures, Letter head stationary and
Envelopes.
5) Read to the end of the strategies training and you will find Ask SC questions with
very good information, as "How do I go about finding ECAs in my own city?" and
"What are the best pitches to use when speaking to people face to face about SFI,
TripleClicks, Pricebenders, or the ECA program?".
