I do not think this should be a serious barrier to recruitment and sponsorship because there are tools available within and outside of SFI to resolve the associated problems of language and limited internet experience for the following reasons:
1. There is on the job training in many organisations including SFI exemplified by various training materials and helpful resources here.
2. Enthusiastic and knowledge seekers are often very eager to develop themselves and acquire pertinent skills in areas of their business.
3. You as a sponsor have a crucial role to play in assisting and developing your sponsored affiliates.
4. There is undoubtedly, language problems here but it is exacerbated by the inability of affiliates to deploy appropriate translation tools to improve their understanding of the contents on SFI/TC websites. However, if you appropriately direct your PSA to translation tools on the internet including how to select his language when browsing pages on SFI site, then any language problem will be minimised. For example, you see many affiliates here who don't understand English doing very well in SFI.
5. Another reason why this may not be a huge problem is the availability of reassignment tool, which makes it easy to place affiliates in the team of another affiliate with similar cultural and language background.
Finally, as you can see, the major problem in most cases may not have to do with the language barrier and internet experience of your PSA, but how you as a sponsor are able to deploy the necessary assistance needed to prevent these from having a devastating impact on your team members.
