In my brief experience with SFI (not yet arrived at 6 months), I found myself thinking like that more than once. Something like this:
"This is not going anywhere. I'm putting my money, I'm getting PSAs, I spend hours promoting my gateways ... but this doesn't work. Maybe ..."
Maybe what?
Maybe I should do as all these PSAs that sing-up and then never re-enter?
That is the essential: if I quit, if I let all those people who just disappear after sing-up discourages me and then I imitate their behaviour, I'm not changing anything, just worsening the situation.
How I can expect SFI work if I'm not willing to go ahead with it? With what right could I complain about all these PSAs that haven't even bothered to start if I join the "guild of the sleepers"? How I can expect others to do what I am not willing to do?
Of course SFI would be an incredible bargain if all the people registered do what do what they are supposed to do. We all will benefit from it: all the PSAs would active and ALL OF US will be earning lots of commissions for it.
But the reality is we can't change those who do not want to believe. We can't persuade those who expect to get rich quickly. We can't force anyone to do work that is not willing to do.
So, we only can do our small part and keep looking for those who, like us, understand that this business works only for those who really want to make it work. It may take months or years, it's true. But the only way to do it is be HERE to get it.
So there are only two possibilities for those who are planning to quit:
- Go ahead: give up and become part of the problem that is taking you to surrender.
- Or be the change we want to see in the world (and in this case, SFI) and keep working.
May it sound a little rough... but for me it's that simple.
