I have tried both ways. According to me the effects are almost the same.

If you advertise on your own - you can post ads on the different places, online and offline. Those places can be free to post or you can pay to advertise. It needs some efforts from your side.

If you have limited time and you can afford it, you can by PSAs.

But then, at the end, we come to the same place - you get PSAs who are working or not! Both ways can be successful and both ways can fail.

The final conclusion is that you need a good traffic to your links so you can find your pearl!
