I have a perfect example to understand that you must know your affiliates first before you can assess them and realise that they can use their skills in the SFI program.
Over a year ago, after I joined SFI, I wanted to recruit another member but she kept on delaying her sign up - Outside SFI, I knew her well enough to know that she had the experience having been in other marketing assignments that she would be able to handle this business. I was right. She joined and we are still together in the team.
- get to know your affiliates at a personal level
- build a long term relationship by being helpful as a friend
- work besides them, not on top of them - do not intimidate them
- handle them with care because once they are in your team, they will support you wholly.
- be patient with your downlines, some of them need this
Encourage them to move forward as friends and you will strengthen your team with the synergy that requires you to become successful. Create a friendly atmosphere of pleasure and concern to enable them to look upto you for guidance.
There are many occasions when you develop those skills by tapping on the potential of our affiliates through regular interaction. They may have inherent qualities that become apparent when they are placed in challenging circumstances. Be there for them and you will know their strengths and help them overcome their weaknesses!
