Hello, Olufolake Stephen Adams!
It is my understanding that one of the purposes of the Affiliate Profile is to help the sponsor know his affiliate and communicate with him efficiently.
This communication is highly encouraged by SFI. Two of the very first actions of the new affiliates for which they are highly rewarded with actions points are:
1. Completing their profile (75 points), and
2. Sending their SFI Commitment Message to their sponsor (50 points)
By completing the profile, the new affiliate clarifies his/her goals and help him/her focus on how to reach them
Sending the "Commitment Message to the Sponsor" open a two-way communication.
As I personally make it a must to send a welcome message as soon as the affiliate sign up, I eagerly wait for the commitment message and take a look at the Affiliate's VP Ledger.
When I acknowledge receipt of the commitment message, it is with tips based on the actions already competed by the new recruit, and what would be the most beneficial for them to do next.
I pay close attention to the deadline for Fast tract and advise the affiliate accordingly.
There are three important deadlines the new SFI Affiliate needs to be fully aware and work to meet them:
(a) the first 24 hours of the Silver Fast Tract
(b) the first ten days expiration of the Gold Fast Track
(c) staying above the "Green Line" and qualifying as a E365 Finalist.
Other areas in which to help the new PSAs are:
(i) the thorough work through the daily to-do-list, helping them avoid missing the new products added daily to Tripleclicks, the stream posts and the Ask SC questions. These are the areas where most new affiliates miss valuable points.
(ii) reading the daily launchpad lessons
However, it is also vital to go beyond the daily tasks and focus on the bigger picture.
Long term SFI success is based on sponsoring PSAs and ECAs, as well as selling Tripleclicks products and services.
The sponsoring and sales parts of the SFI business should be emphasized as early as possible.
I point this out in my very first tips to the new affiliates as well as the potential benefits of "Bid $ Build" as an easy and convenient way for getting PSAs.
This also opens the opportunity to introduce the idea of a Standing order (SO) to help the associate get Tcredits, earn MRP. and start using the auctions with all their features for team builder.
To truly bring about the "Big picture" in the communications between sponsor and affiliates, the sponsor has to have a good knowledge of the affiliate's profile, their goals and their accomplishment both outside of SFI and their first activity with SFI.
This will help the sponsor see opportunities to help the affiliate in what will the most beneficial to them,
