Using a PSA's profile will tell you quite a bit about your PSA and his/her previous business experience. I think one of the most useful things learned from the profile is the amount of time and or money your PSA has available to invest.
You can advise how to wisely use that time to the best advantage and likewise what would be the best use of perhaps limited funds. If they say they have no money to invest, you know not to push them, even gently, to set up a Standing Order, but can work out a different strategy for that PSA to grow his business using free advertising methods and lead generating techniques.
If your PSA says he is comfortable in speaking to strangers, or has had experience in leadership, then you can suggest more personal forms of advertising than if he says he would be uncomfortable in such a situation.
On the other hand, to be successful, one needs to get out of one's 'comfort zone' and so knowing that a PSA is uncomfortable in a particular area can be the area in which you can provide specific training to help him overcome that limitation.
