Hi, Sean Vigna!
Some new affiliates may have skills in various fields: Advanced Software Development, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Savvy, Mobile Marketing, Hardware Specialization, Website Building, Sales Skills and the like.
Most of these skills have been around for some time. They all can be useful is building success and helping affiliate rise faster. As the affiliate's knowledge of SFI improves, he will see the right use of his/her skills.
The affiliate will realize how these skills can come handy as they are mentioned in the various SFI training sections.
SFI is in its 17th year of success, helping affiliates build strong teams, rise as stars, earn substantial income and help their recruits duplicate the same results.
The SFI model has proven over and over how success can be achieved.
Duplicating success is easier and safer than trying to navigate uncharted waters
I am looking at the various SFI training modules on sponsoring: (i) Solutions, (ii) rules of success; (iii) How to be an awesome sponsor.
I do not see anywhere something relating to spending time to an identify affiliate's skills and focusing on them to make that affiliate a star.
In fact, there is a serious danger in trying to re-invent the wheel.
I have noticed in SFI two groups of successful affiliates:
The first group is blessed with great sponsors and supportive online that is helping them duplicate their success stories. It is being done everyday. What is remarkable in this example is that the new affiliates are coachable. They follow leadership, apply the tips they get from their upline and reach the same success.
The second group does not have that advantage of a dynamic and responsive sponsor. They work harder, master the knowledge, reach out to other more experience affiliates through a2s, the Forum, and Tech Support. They use all the resources available as tools to build their businesses.
These are the example I prefer to point out to my affiliates.
If a new affiliate has excellent business development and team building skills, it will show very soon from their results and their sponsoring scores.
