Affiliates will tend to be serious if they realise the potentials here at SFI and the most obvious potential is the possibility of earning a reasonable and continuous income stream. The challenge is therefore your ability to expose these potentials to your affiliates and encourage them to take advantage of them.
First, you have to develop a clear path to success for your affiliates to understand and follow. Describe what they need to do on a daily, weekly, monthly and on continuous basis in order to take advantage of the potentials of success as laid down in the SFI business model. This will be helpful because one of the reasons affiliates are not serious is the lack of understanding of the system and how to apply their understanding to building a successful business.
Secondly, you need to encourage them not to let up on any aspect of this business; they need to login daily or regularly, do some reading of important materials, place ads regarding TC products, referrals, and SFI signups. If they become used to how these are done, they may find it interesting and take up the challenge to work harder in order to improve their chances of success.
Thirdly, encourage them to take the 3 basics steps seriously; become EA, recruit 5 active affiliates and teach them to do the same. Guide and assist them to realise these steps and let them be aware that the beginning of building a successful business starts with these 3 basic steps.
Fourthly, another major aspect of getting your affiliates serious is to inform them of the benefits of being serious affiliates like what is in for them if they maintain EA status, signup active PSAs, PRMs, ECAs, SFIPPA. Their seriousness in this regard is to consistently pursue these aspects because the probability of success lies on persistence and determination.
Fifthly, you must be a serious affiliate yourself to have the trust to encourage your PSAs to be serious themselves, so there is need for you to use yourself as a testimony of a serious affiliate that resulted in your being successful.
On the sixth point, you may need to reward success or seriousness within your downline in order to motivate them to be more serious in forging ahead. Reward is a very important aspect of motivation, which in turn encourages hard work and seriousness.
Finally, no matter how you try, you must come to terms with the fact that not all your affiliates will be serious, so at the end you may need to make do with only those that show potentials of seriousness, instead of wasting your precious time flogging "dead horses".
