Dear Sandra,
Before I answer whether you should advise new PSAs to slow down and not qualifying as Team Leaders so quickly or not, I would like to classify the new PSAs into four categories:
i. Absolutely inactive PSAs. Of course these PSAs are not going to make any VPs because they just signed up and remain silent. You do not have to worry about them moving so fast but you have to worry about their reasons for an inactivity and solutions to overcome the problem.
ii. PSAs who are moving slow and steady. Thses PSAs are active at a moderate pace and improving. I think many of us like this type of PSAs. As a leader, you just need to inject them with some motivations regularly.
iii. PSAs moving fast but having little money to invest. During their first month in SFI, these PSAs are so excited and want to move forward as quickly as possible. Possibly they get PTL rank if they can complete daily, weekly, intermediate actions and read LaunchPads, at the same time do a few number of purchases.
I think we cannot blame them for being so fast and so excited. Just wonder when you are being offered a chance to win in E365 contest, get a Fast Track recognition and prizes, being above a green line, being on top of your class, and so on, would you just reject these valuable offers, whereas SFI itself does make these offers! Why would you ignore all that?
When they enter a second month and so forth, they for sure will have a difficulty to maintain that rank without performing huge purchases. So, here, the team leaders must play an important role to do a clarification about consequences of moving so fast without having downlines. Do not let these excited affiliates become demotivated if they cannot maintain their rank and if they still have not made any earning yet.
iv. PSAs moving fast, ready to invest a big amount of money and have an experience in internet marketing. These PSAs will move fast, attain PTL within a short period of time, do some purchases and also are capable of doing sponsoring since money and expertise are of no problem to them. They are fast learners, action-oriented, capable of motivating their downlines to also do duplication.
Why would you slow them down? Let them appreciate their rank as Team Leaders and you just need to encourage them to keep up with their momentum. Oh, how lucky the team leader is to have this type of personality.
So, in conclusion, as a team leader, you must be wise enough in observing your different PSAs’ tracks. As long as they move forward, fast or slow, guide them properly.
Thanks.
