I have seen new affiliates having the tendency of accumulating VPs as much as they can without understanding the core principle of SFI. When they have exhausted and performed almost all of their AVPs (action VPs), comes the second month, their momentum in terms of VP accumulation slows down and they will most likely become discourage. As they look at their commission earnings they’ll get more disappointed with another blow!
As a Team Leader, it’s very important that your new PSAs be trained accordingly based on SFI BASICS, which is Duplication.
I would therefore advise them in the following manner:
- Generally most of new affiliates have no experience in network marketing.
Your experience as their Team Leader is essential in helping and supporting them in starting their SFI journey. You can use the Genealogy to have an overview of your new PSAs how they’re performing. Furthermore, you can view their VP Ledgers how they advance in performing their To-Do List. Based on that, you can train them accordingly. Some people are fast learners and others take time to understand the SFI system.
- I would encourage new affiliates, who become Gold Fast-Track members to go for Team Leader rank.
However, as their Team Leader I would tell them to focus on learning and applying the Marketing Methods provided by SFI to start sponsoring. The Genealogy and the VP Ledger are powerful tools to keep you up-to-date on their activities. What’s good in being a Team Leader without active downline? I would use the Reassignment tool for support and would include them in my Ad Co-op or S-Builder. I would furthermore advise them to the same.
- For new affiliates who are not so active, I would send them messages to find out more what challenges they’re facing and support them whatever I can. Maybe they would need more time in understanding how SFI works, therefore, I won’t advise them to move up to Team Leader rank.
It’s critical that new affiliates at this stage be trained properly in order to understand the business of Duplication. As a Team Leader you have a big responsibility to lead them to succeed.
