Leading your affiliates to become serious business builders in SFI requires skills and good qualities of leadership.
As their Team Leader you should exhibit the following skills and qualities if you want your affiliates to follow you and become serious in building their own SFI businesses:
- Passion
Sharing your passion and enthusiasm with your affiliates can help you motivate them to become more productive. Passion comes in many forms ranging from:
1. Being keen about your affiliates accomplishments giving them praise no matter how small could that be.
2. Showing constant positive attitude to keep your affiliates motivated and keep the energy levels up. You can share your positive thoughts through the Stream Posts as well as your enthusiasm about the latest news in SFI.
3. Being an inspiration to them.
One way of showing them that you’re a serious business builder and inspire them is through your badge. As a Team Leader you’re a living example to them. Direct them to your Leadership page to see for themselves your achievements in building and expanding growth of your SFI business. You should always include your Leadership page link in every time you communicate with your affiliates. Your Top Enroller badges, Power Rank, VersaPoints leaderboard, etc are means of showing your determination, persistence and most of all your commitment. Your badges as displayed in your JMT gateway is another indicator how serious you are in building your business.
- Communication
You need to be able to describe clearly and succinctly how to build and expand the growth of owning their SFI businesses. Training your affiliates and creating a productive work environment all depend on healthy lines of communication. Make sure that they understand SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD, which are very important principles in establishing and building upon their SFI businesses. Always offer your support and be consistent in sending them your tips and advice. Ask how you can help them, to show that you care for them.
Encourage them to participate in SFI Forum and become and active contributor in Ask SC. This will create an environment of connection where your team members feel valued.
- Acknowledge and Reward
People love recognition, but are most appreciative of respect. Take the time to give your affiliates the proper accolades they have earned and deserve
At a time when people want to feel as if they are making a difference, be a thoughtful Team Leader and reassure your team that you are paying attention to their efforts. One way of showing this is by reassigning active affiliates to one of your most active EA2s or awarding Gift Certificates/TC Credits for maintaining EA2. You may also reward your affiliates when they become Team Leaders by offering them to your Ad Co-op or S-Builder. As Team Leaders of their own profitable teams, they have their own vested interest in keeping their businesses. Your action shows that you’re serious in building your SFI business, an example to them.
Being genuine in your recognition and respect goes a long way towards building loyalty and trust. It organically ignites extra effort!
When your affiliates are acknowledged, their work brings them greater satisfaction and become serious business builders in SFI.
