Are they earning their Team Leader position from their team members or from their own purchases?
If it's from their own purchases I would encourage them to slow down as much as encourage them to read and learn more. Duplication and growing your team is something that's learned and a good lesson to learn. If they want to spend money on their business is good: they understand investment obviously, but they need to start learning about duplication, PR, reading and learning.
I wouldn't advise them either way. I'd advise them to learn about investing in their own business if they've got the duplication down pat, or advise them to learn about duplication if they're doing their own investment like a pro.
I belief we as team leaders are like guide posts or signs along the highway to success. We can only point them in the right direction. In the end it's their choice whether they want to follow the right way to get there. If they don't we all know how that works. The turning around. Finding out where they went wrong. Starting over again. If I'm going to do that I prefer to do that at the beginning. It's not nearly as confusing as doing after twenty years of 'thinking' I was doing it the right way and finding out the hard way that it wasn't.
