My blind and straight answer for your question is "Yes". With out putting the first step on the floor how can we climb a mountain? Is it possible? When we have a strong foundation for our building, the building will not collapse. Like that with out having much knowledge about SFI, becoming Team Leader that too with out a strong team is not advisable.
In SFI one must have a strong desire to become a millionaire with lot of patience,dedication, love to read and learn to earn. If you follow forum posts regularly, you can observe many of the leaders are not became leaders very quickly. They dedicated sufficient time and got experience, knowledge to guide their team in a better way then succeeded.
Conclusion:
So, my request and suggestion to all sfi affiliates is that don't try to become TLs very quickly. Becoming TL quickly is easy, but after that remaining as TL is very difficult.
