Let me answer your question with an example. I advertise my ECA business through a blog. Due to the rules about cross-solicitation, I'm quite leery of advertising to my affiliates.
I know the above example isn't worth jack squat, but you can tell your affiliates this. Have them check your ECA page and look for the SFI Info Box. Within that box is a URL to your store. You can email that URL to all your affiliates so they can see what you offer.
I say give it a shot. You just might get a sale or two. ;)
