I would have my affiliates look at their Scorecard tab. The potential for income is shown in the Rank qualification area which shows them the quantity of Sales VP they have acquired during the month.
In the My Earnings section, I would explain that the quantity of VP they have affects the commission they receive. When they buy from TripleClicks, they receive Sales VP on most of the products they buy, which helps them attain Executive Affiliate status.
I would also explain that their VP gets them a share of the Executive Pool which is the funded by the 15% that TripleClicks retains from any purchases made by PRM or affiliates.
By maintaining their EA status they are assured to receive a minimum amount of commission each month from the Executive Pool.
Another point I stress is that if they expect their downline to purchase at TripleClicks the best way to teach is by example. They can do this by setting up a SO if they can afford it.
To play most of the popular games in TripleClicks it requires TCredits for some part of the game. To bid in the auctions, TCredits are used. The purchase of these TCredits get them closer to their goal of attaining EA. I try to show them that making purchases is in their best interest.
