Before you go on mentioning to your downline about spending money monthly in order to maintain their EA status, first consider your example as their Team Leader and how you relate to them.
- Are you setting an example before your downline in regards to your leadership and running your own SFI business?
- Have you been consistently communicating the goal of your SFI organization?
In answering your question, it is important not to focus on spending money but to motivate your downline how to accomplish, achieve short term goals to grow their SFI business. You need to let them know that in joining SFI, they started to become a business owner. Most people, who wanted to become entrepreneurs, experienced having a boss, being told what to do. They need to unlearn the employee mentality and learn truly to become a business owner, only then can they understand and begin to take charge as they venture SFI. As their Team Leader you’re instrumental in bringing them to that level.
As their Team Leader you can help by teaching and training them in getting effective at what they will do in their own SFI business. When they see growth in their SFI business and good results because they have been effective in doing and accomplishing their set goals, they will become motivated and do what it takes to grow more in their SFI business. They will set up Standing Order (SO) to maintain their EA status, log in everyday performing their To-Do List, strive to move up to the next rank, participate in SFI Forum often and become active and valuable assets of SFI community.
How & What to Train On
Here’s how and what I recommend you train your downline on:
•How to establish goals
•How to promote SFI and TripleClicks
•What to say to people when they make phone calls
•How to set appointments
•How to present SFI/TripleClicks to prospects
•Share your experience of effectively sponsoring new affiliates and generating sales at TripleClicks
•How to train their new affiliates
To get your downline to produce and bring more growth, not only to their own SFI business but to your SFI organization as a whole, you need to get them effective in each one of these areas. When they can do each of these things, they will be motivated because they are effective. Hence, you don’t need to mention to them about spending money monthly to invest in their SFI business, they will automatically do it, because they’re motivated.
