You lead by example by having a minimum of 1500 VP standing-order every month. In this 1500 VP standing order it is like paying rent on a monthly basis (Just a lot cheaper than a traditional brick and mortar shops rent).
You understand to make commissions you have to sell items offered through TripleClicks and that you can do that with either the affiliate links or through getting your own website and offering a direct link (with your affiliate links) to the product in SFI.
