The role of the sponsor is to guide the PSA or CSA with their business and not to be seen to be putting pressure on them. One of the first goals of every new affiliate should be to qualify as Executive Affiliate as this is the only way we can participate in the share of the pool. However, having said that affiliates come in many types of personality and ability, there will inevitably be differences in their capacity to meet these expectations. I think it is every sponsor’s wish to have very good PSAs and the best way to have your active affiliates as EAs should be to lead by example. In other words put duplication into practice. Show them how and why you maintain your EA and you will be sowing the seeds of motivation.
It is true that after the first month, one has to do more to maintain their EA status and this is where the sponsor should help the affiliate. Those who can afford to spend should be encouraged and those who cannot should be advised to invest their time wisely and gradually, they too will be able to participate in the sales. One man's 30 days could be another man's 300 days!
Putting pressure on them will make them feel as if they are just being used and they may turn away altogether.
