I may be the wrong person to answer this question, as I too am mainly focused on the To-Do List. However, I am learning (via the internet) how to build blogs & websites, so I can do more.
I have no vehicle & live miles away from anywhere, so it is difficult for me to do a whole lot more, though I admit I could try a little harder.
Be sure they understand they will only get out of the business, what they put in. Put little effort in, get little in reward. That's just the way of life, in every aspect, including business.
Encourage them, come up with creative ideas as to how they can do more, have competitions within your team to encourage them to be the highest earner/fastest recruiter/first to 1500VP or whatever. Incentives work most of the time.
