Nobody stays a PTL for long without building depth to their structure. Eventually those not earning their worth will begin to have doubts and some will choose to quit. Even successful ones have left because things just didn't move as fast as they would have liked, or their own downlines started to erode in time.
Once you help your 5 get 5 and help them set up a system to help their 5 do the same you can work on adding more than 5 at the top. It's just good business to have padding in case someone falls out unexpectedly, but be sure you have a plan in place and action taken to keep your existing team happy and working before focusing too much on adding width.
