Managing your downline as it grows to large numbers is only as good as your small game.
I spent a few years in politics, and with politics you have to gain the close support of large numbers of people, but you do that through a bunch of meetings with smaller groups with an opportunity at the end for one to one discussion.
In Internet Marketing you can start with each person through a welcome mail that teaches them about resources like the search bar, forum, A2A, and Ask SC. The more independent they are able to study the better your chances of being able to support a large downline later on.
Once your downline is large you can start your new week with a team mail to the entire network. You can break that into smaller groups with Skype Chats, Google Plus Hangouts, and Webinars, or even using Facebook groups and FB Chat. This will give you both the power to present ideas to a few team members at a time and converse with the ones who need extra help one on one.
Keep a planner and write down the things you need to research to give your team answers on and schedule a time to follow up with them on what you have learned if it's not something you can answer within a few clicks. A prime example would be coaching them on writing effective blog post. You might need to set a future time to review the work once it's completed by the team member and another a week or so later to see how their marketing of the post has gone.
Be available several times a day for short periods instead of just a few hours at the same time each day. Helping people across a range of time zones works best if you keep both morning and evening hours such as before work and after dinner for 2 hours each time. This will show you care enough to be available when your team needs fast answers.
When you do help team members help them find the information, so in the future they can find it again. Help them organize bookmarks, and learn to schedule time to accomplish their goals, and you will find your team is less stressed and more self sustained.
