A very good general query particularly meant for affiliates or team leaders with very large, active down-line affiliates.
I very clearly and truly intend to agree with affiliate members or TLs who think and say that managing so many active affiliates under so many generation levels is a tedious and difficult task, which saps a lot of mental and physical energy apart from the need to possess lots and lots of patience and tolerance. It is only under such circumstances that various management methods and techniques has to be learnt and applied to overcome such problems.
There may be several methods and techniques which can be applied to such a problem or issue but I intend to put forth here-in-below, what I think is the best for the benefit of all the team leaders. What one has to do is to draw or set-up a line or benchmark on various parameters for the affiliates to achieve independently by their own efforts. Once we do that, the managing part would become very facile and easy. Only thing one has to do is to regularly watch the development or growth of each and every affiliate down under and note down their achievements.
We can leave the affiliates who have crossed the benchmark level and only concentrate of the affiliates who are below the benchmark. If one remembers the early days of SFI life, there is a rule in SFI - always stay above the green/blue/red line. It is just like that. We have to provide help to these affiliates who may require it and may be awaiting for the help to come.
We have to enquire or find out what the problem or issue is and try to find the remedy, give them proper directions to overcome it and show or redirect them on to the correct path. Moreover, we must clearly let them know that this is only one time help for such problem hence it is quite necessary for all of them to learn how to overcome it on their individual and independent efforts in future.
A small/little help at the correct time would give them all a lot of confidence and satisfaction to move forward. Not only that, all of them will be faithfully following the team leader forever who extends timely help which is a clear-cut case of making a positive impression among all the needy affiliates.
I usually adopt the above technique and I have always succeeded by adopting it. When I always succeed I do not see why others would not?? Just try it once or twice and see/watch the results yourselves.
