People that read more learn more so they make fewer mistakes because they know the mistakes made by other who have walked this path before and are free to make bold new mistakes. If I take what I can learn from a yearly subscription to Entrepreneur and compare what I learned not to do to the mistakes my competitor has made in their business I can find an upper hand. I will be ahead of them even if I started my business 10 years after they did.

People ask questions at 10 times the rate of AskSC and get answers in real time from dozens of experienced sources. They learn not only that something works but why and how it works, and how to tell if it's not working. By being a student of the forum you are guaranteed to learn something new every day, even if you have been doing this since 2003 like me.
Ask SC is like a polling of the community with unlimited answer options.
Every new question asked will have 10 days in which answers are added often 80 to 100 answers in all and they are voted on by the thousands of active experienced members. It's safe to say that reading the top 5-10-20 answers will permanently cure your curiosity about any of the tens of thousands of subjects covered in the archives.

Some people spend 30 minutes on their to-do list, but I spend 3 hours minimum. I will start with the alerts tab and read the latest post at the forum, learning where I can, helping others where I can. I will then work through the information on my tabs and come to AskSC as the last task before entering the daily grand. I read every word of every answer I vote on and then when I am done I read some of last weeks 1st through 10th winners.
I guarantee that my business is stronger being a daily reader.
