First, I dont see any problem here in reading Daily News, for me it's same like you take newspapers to read news. It's not the loosing our precious free time, it's the part of our job, so dont be lazy! And now you know If you want play new game you must read news, I like that, it's maybe the only way to convince you all to understand this seriously.
