I don’t think building a team within my own spoken language and environment will make any difference to how successful I want to be.
SFI is global- it has no boundaries, and the internet makes it so easy and convenient to communicate and to work with people from other parts of the world, any time, anywhere.
It is also very limiting to confine your business to those around you. While communication may be much easier, it can also breed some unhealthy competition and personality conflict.
The popular saying, familiarity breeds contempt, can easily occur as you interact with people with different temperaments if working closely with people in the same area and environment.
There is also safety in distance- you are able to control your emotion, frustration and anger, and hide your feeling better if dealing with your team from afar.
These are only a few of the reasons why building a team beyond these boundaries is much, much better.
