I have learned that the fewer words included in your advertising the better the results will be.
People do not like long paragraphs nor do they like to take the time to read long advertising messages.
When people use traffic exchanges they are allowed only so many words or characters in their ads because the entire ad will only be in front of your reader for about 5 to 9 seconds. I have learned to treat all my advertising as though it is going through a Traffic Exchange site.
No matter where you place your advertising (even newspapers) keep your sentences down to only 5 to 6 words each. Keep your paragraphs no longer than 4 lines. Make sure you place an empty space between your paragraphs. People like “white space” it is easier to read.
Only provide enough information to peak the curiosity of the reader into taking the next step that you are guiding them to. – Be it to go to landing page or to your website.
Once they become your lead – (signed up for more information) then you can give them more information only word it in such a way that you will be eliminating the tire kickers.
Even if your advertising leads the reader to a phone call or instant message system keep your conversation positive, uplifting and friendly. – Don’t freely offer information let them ask questions and only answer the questions - then ask them to sign up.
