"Fear of success" is essentially a fear of change--if you reach your goals, you have to find new goals and change your pursuits. Change takes people out of their comfort zones, and as someone who coaches people for part of his living, I can tell you that many people are often more willing to stick with familiar problems than they are to consider a better life without them. It's frustrating.
The solution here starts with an action that very few people take with their team members: You have to understand their goals to the point where you're helping them to
visualize the RESULTS of achieving those goals. The more you can help them with this positive framing process, the more they can even see their daily actions as rewards in themselves, making them feel good every time they come to the website, every time they post a link, every time they recruit people on their own.
That's what makes people succeed, and in doing so, conquer their fears.
