Perhaps the very best way to demonstrate the importance of reading daily would be to share some of the things that you are learning. When you use your team mail let your affiliates know that you learned the info you shared by reading the expert reports, or rules of success, etc.. If you don't divulge your sources they may become intimidated at their own lack of knowledge and give up.
When you share the value that YOU have gained by reading they will know that they can go to the same pool and drink in the same wisdom!
