First of all I don't think people don't know to much about SFI when they register. A lot of them give up at the first step because they are not interested in this kind of work.
Second, when they scratch the surface they find easy to get VP at the start, interesting games... and I guess they think that this here is easy money for short time. But after a first month they find out that this is serious business and they have to learn and work a lot to get some serious income.
Third, and for me the most important thing is that people are trying this because they don't have a regular job and they need money. This is specially case where I am coming from. And when they come to the point of investing a few dollars, they give up because they don't have the money to invest.
It is very hard to convince people at the very start that this is something they can have regular income from.
