The biggest turn-off you should avoid talking to your prospects about is "purchase".
Avoid starting discussion with the idea that they have to buy products. People do not want to part with money easily, yet they want to make money.
SFI has many other ways to make it other than making people buy products. For instance, working on your To-Do-List daily earns you Versa Points without buying anything but the movement may be slow.
Completing your profile by just adding your picture (New Affiliates) earns you VersaPoints; Liking SFI & TripleClicks on Facebook and following them on Twitter also earns you Versa Points among others (these are things they do anyway on social media without any reward). Let your prospects start slow and when they mature and become convinced that SFI is real, they opt for product purchase on their own accord.
Concentrate on their small but continuous improvement which will lead to commitment and consistence.
Good Luck.
