Hi John,
1. Frankly speaking there is no end to the number of ‘turn offs’. Basically, these would vary with different prospects.
The following are the common mistakes which we commit/likely to commit while talking about SFI to a prospect, which can instantly turn him/her off!
i) Being Pushy: Never try to force your prospects to join SFI. The principle & rules of SFI clearly state that joining SFI has to be a voluntary affair. You will be violating SFI’s culture if you are quite aggressive in your approach to a prospect! Therefore let’s carry out some smooth talking.
ii) Promising them the”Moon”: Never bloat up or exaggerate the benefits/rewards. Keep emphasizing that it’s not an “overnight becoming millionaire “scheme.
iii) Presenting SFI in a complicated manner: Explain in simple terms, each & every step by merely highlighting the basics;summarize the business model, sources of income, daily, weekly & monthly tasks to perform. Finally assure them that you will guide them at each step .This will instill their confidence in you.
iv) One way traffic: Never dominate the conversation with your prospect.Always pause & lend your ears allowing them to speak & clarify their doubts. Allow the discussion to flow from both sides.
v) Pleading/begging to join: Be quite professional in your approach. You may politely request your prospect once to try out this online venture but never beg them to join.
2. Most of the time you do not know your prospects in person since you are promoting SFI to mere strangers either online or offline; it’s therefore hard to deduce what can be a 'turn-off'for a particular prospect. However, avoid excess information so as not to confuse them. Too much information can also be intimidating for most people and they assume that this business is difficult and complicated and will not be capable of doing it,thereby dropping the idea of joining..
So brief them the following:-
A) The overall merits & benefits of SFI condensed to the point as given below:-
i) Free to register,
ii) Free training and world-class support around the clock.
iii) No monthly fees
iv) Nil experience required,
v) Option of choosing your own working hours
vi) Working from your own home.
vii) Global outreach
B) Minimum Basic Requirements: -
i) A desk top computer/ tablet./laptop/ smart phone with an Internet connection,
ii) Basic knowledge of English,
iii) Determination and will to work and succeed.
3. You will need to diplomatically convey to them how long it was before you broke even, and how much longer it was before the business earned you a profit without mentioning your monthly income!
4. A few people are apprehensive about the need to recruit their own down lines; but if we patiently explain the free training aids to advertise & market the affiliates for our down line, all their fears can be removed.
5. Finally, a word of caution. Never try to omit or hide any aspect of SFI that can turn off a prospect. Once he/she comes to know the truth, it will badly backfire on you.
Well John , hope these few tips are useful for promoting SFI.
