In order to understand what is too much in helping your affiliates, you’ll need to consider their skills and level of knowledge in operating their own SFI business.
You can categorize them into the following:
- New affiliates
- EA, EA2 (Executive Affiliates)
- TLs (Team Leaders)
Knowing your affiliates abilities, skills and knowledge in the first hand will help you make wise decision in helping and supporting them.
When to help your affiliates?
- Your new affiliates need your guidance and support in regards to understanding first SFI BASICS and doing LAUNCHPAD. They need your constant support especially in their first month as they explore and navigate their SFI homepage.
- Support your EAs/EA2s and TLs in maintaining their status, in acquiring skills of sponsoring new affiliates and in establishing and on building their network.
When not to help your affiliates?
- Don’t spoil your new affiliates by offering them rewards/incentives in their first month just to keep them under your organization. They need to prove themselves with their consistency, determination and commitment.
- Don’t push your affiliates in purchasing products for their sales VPs by offering Gift Certificates for payment, just to fulfill your interest. You’re encouraging your affiliates to rely on you and are counterproductive.
- Don’t offer rewards/incentives to your EA2 and TLs for the sole purpose of accumulating your much needed AVPs in moving up to the next level. If they’re not convinced and understand SFI concept, they’ll eventually leave.
- In building your team, don’t just reassigned affiliates just to please your EA2s and TLs. You’re setting up your organization’s foundation on the sand.
