Yes, in my opinion there is such a thing as helping your affiliates too much. First as a Team Leader it is our responsibility to assist our downline and do what we can to help them succeed; however, on the other hand we don't want to cripple them or give them the impression that we are there to carry the load for them. If you are constantly helping them make EA, you are helping to much. If they don't see the importance of an SO or maintaining EA then how serious can they be. Not having the money is no excuse, there are many free advertising methods they can use to obtain PSAs...are they trying? Of course it's going to take more effort but so what...they're either hungry for success or not. If you are always answers questions for them when they have not read the information, you are helping to much; explaining something they don't understand is different. It's their business and the success of their business depends primarily on their efforts, dedication and commitment. We can guide and direct them but they must do the work. I'm all for sending gift certificates, rewarding with PSA's, TCredits and the like but only to those who have proven their seriousness about SFI. We are instructed at SFI to "work with the workers" this is exactly what I do.
I've learned in the 2 years that I've been with SFI that those who honestly want to better their lives will work their business. Aces are not here for the fast buck, nor are they the kind to appear for a moment and disappear. They have the spirit of an entrepreneur. They ask valid questions and follow directions given, they log in daily, maintain EA and advertise their business...help these ones and you will never feel like you are helping them "too much" because they will automatically do the things necessary to bring success. When you do something for these ones you will be rewarding them and you will feel great about doing so. As long as it feels like a win-win situation you're not doing too much for your affiliates.
I wish you tremendous success with your SFI business. Keep moving forward...the future looks bright:)
