As a matter of fact among the two categories, both of them are actually same.
There is a small difference. The CSAs are already entrusted to a Team Leader and for certain reasons they are re-entrusted to another Leader. In the discrepancy of changing guards, there may emanate slight confusion as a result of which there is scope for CSAs to slightly become tardy in their work. At times, the CSAs allotted are the ones who might have joined long time back, but for their own reasons have become inactive.
But the PSAs are the ones who have joined anew and therefor they are likely to be more vibrant, enthusiastic and work faster..
I may hasten to add that even though the CSAs are entrusted after a gap of inactivity have proved to be challenging in their performance. That has happened in my case itself. After gap of few months the CSA having been entrusted to me shot back to her deserved postion of EA2.
This makes it clear that basically it is the attitude of the affiliate that determines his/ her position but not the category to which they belong (PSA or CSA).
