Hi Maja, you are only privileged to be their sponsor. You have to understand that they own their business. So your email should be persuasive and in form of encouragement always. Use the following as a guide:
1. See your team members as colleagues and not your sub-ordinate, therefore don't be too pushy in what you want them to do.
2. Carefully select your words to be in form of advice rather than criticizing.
3. Use inclusive words like "we", "our", "all of us" etc. in your email.
4. Appreciate the affiliate's contribution before mentioning what he or she should improve upon.
5. Always share your experience in a similar situation and how you survived it.
6. Don't repeat the email to the same affiliate.
7. Let your mail content be formal instead of informal.
8. Lead by example, ensure you have done what you are correcting your PSAs and/or CSAs for.
9. Hash words should not proceed from your mouth to your team members at all.
10.Always open your team members to new discoveries you have just learn in conclusion.
Best of luck in your business...
