I can understand where you are coming from with your question I have also thought of how to do this. I have only thought of it – In other words I have never used criticism in any form, constructive or not.
It is so much better to offer suggestions after asking the affiliate if he/she wants to hear any suggestions.
People do not take to criticism unless they are your family or super personal friends. And in business the fastest way to get rid of your clients is to gently criticize what they are doing.
If an affiliate asks me a specific question I will answer it by laying out the truth of the matter whether it is easy to swallow or not. The protection here is that the affiliate has asked me to critique their work. Even with this I will keep my answer in a suggesting format.
Your emails to your down-line should only be filled with exciting things going on within your team, SFI and TripleClicks.
You can cover the “how too’s in sales, sponsoring, purchasing and communications with their teams.
Do not answer personal questions from your affiliates within a newsletter that goes out to your entire team.
Always remember that you are building a team that consist of relationships and not a team in which you command. Your team must feel like they can trust you and that you are there to help them not “grading” the actions of what they are doing.
Be a great example to your team which you can do through your actions and your newsletters. They will see the advancements that you are accomplishing by the badges on your affiliate center and leadership page.
Your down-line can and will critique their own personal activities just by witnessing what you are accomplishing.
Remember always let your down-line affiliates instigate the questions before giving any advice.
