Every day I spend about 1 or 2 hours in promoting my SFI and TripleClicks business. I do this through “free solo safe ads” – paid solo safe ads – I have continuous classified ads running also paid and free.
When I make a trip anywhere during any time of the week I will take with me W3 cards – Gift Cards – Garage sale cards and hand them out to people who I strike up a conversation with. I also leave the cards at gas stations, our bank, grocery stores and so forth. I usually give out 30 of each every month.
I work on my blog every day – either adding post or changing the banners around so something is different every day. I ad new post to the blog about once a week.
I started a fan page on Facebook so that I can place banners and advertising on my page without Facebook blocking me. I use direct links to SFI and also links to my blog posts.
You can never do too much advertising – Promoting your personal business with SFI and TripleClicks should be your number one activity. When you make it to the top level in SFI then you can relax a little on the advertising because by then your team is large enough to be “self” sustaining.
I also had a rotator placed on my SFI blog so I can use it to co-op with my teammates in advertising or use it to do split testing on ads to see which one worked the best. I use this rotator about once a month because that is how I set up my ad campaigns (a month at a time)
Be creative find new ways to advertise that don’t cost you much in time or money. The usual stuff – post on bulletin boards – fliers – post card advertising and local newspapers.
I do not get out very much so I do most of my advertising using the Internet there are thousands of different places to run free ads. Google “Free advertising” and you will get a list of over a couple thousand free sites to use.
Advertise daily – be consistent in the sites you use. It is said that someone will have to see your ad at least 7 or 8 times before they respond. The shorter the time between your ads the better chance you have of gaining new contacts.
On top of all the above listed advertising methods I also will talk to whoever I come in contact with- “Hey could you use a little extra cash?” Breaks the ice – works great.
