That is a good question that many (if not all) affiliates try to figure out just how to get your team mates to break the ice (so to speak) and make a purchase. I would also ad “for any amount dollar wise”.
This being a free company to join there are great amount of new affiliates that want to build a business without ever spending any money. Things just don’t happen that way.
One of the ways that I have been trying to coach my team into purchasing from TripleClicks is at least once a month I will write up something about a product that I personally use from TripleClicks and I talk of the benefits they will receive by using so and so product.
Another way is that when I give out rewards for monthly achievements I send them a small Gift Certificate and I date it for the end of the same month that I gave it to them.
I also try to encourage my team to do transfer buying – I do this by showing them examples that I have been transferring to TripleClicks store.
I also have ran contest where a purchase from TripleClicks is required because the VP needed to place a winning position in the contest is too high to be able to do it without at least a small purchase. This at times has worked for me.
Sometimes I give them something big that will require at least a 1,500 VP SO or at least 1,000 VP SO. I award affiliates who earn over 1,000 VP in a month a free spot on my team rotator for new affiliate sigh-ups. This also has worked well for getting affiliates to make a purchase.
