Two good questions. The answers will vary slightly depending on your circumstances, but here's what I do, and it seems to work for me.
Question 1;
The first thing I do when I log in to SFI is complete my regular tasks to gather my VP, send out any group mails I have planned for that day, and check my MOVERS list, to look for changes in activity patterns, so I can contact those involved and offer a hand if needed, or just a word of encouragement. If there is any other business to take care of at that point I do it.
Then I send out any scheduled training emails that are due to be sent to my newest PSAs, and respond to any emails received from my downline. The rest of my time is spent marketing, checking my email several times during the day for any new developments, and responding ASAP.
Question 2;
The percentage of your time you spend on each task depends on where you are on your journey with SFI. At first, I spent 90% of my time on self-improvement, and 10% setting up a marketing strategy. As I gained confidence in my understanding of the system, those numbers changed, spending less time on self-improvement and more on marketing, until they were completely reversed - 10% on self-improvement, and 90% on marketing.
When I start getting new PSAs, training and communication entered the equation. It eventually settled down to the following, (varying slightly from day to day);
10% self-improvement/admin
20% communication
20% training
50% marketing (split evenly between SFI and TripleClicks).
Hope this helps.
