The 3 things that you have mentioned is the key to each and every affiliate's success. Marketing, Training and Communications. I will also add "Sales" to this.
Marketing, training and communication are all connected. You have to advertise to build your down-line. Once they are in, you need to train them and then have the communication channel open all the time.
For me, 25% time should be allocated to marketing, 50% time in training and 25% in communication. If you work 8 hours a day, 2 hours for Marketing, 4 hours training and 2 hours communicating to your down-line.
Getting people to join your team is easy. You can even buy PSAs from ECAs or from TripleClicks. As far as I am concerned, training the new joinees is the most difficult part. Making them understand the business and its potential, it's going to be tough. I do not think anybody will disagree with me in this. Constant communication with your down-line and supporting them is another major task and have to devote equal amount of time as marketing. Reason being, only one or two out of 100 will be active. So the conversion rate will be <=2%.
As you can see, hundreds and thousands of affiliates are joining SFI every day. So the competition will also be tight. So converting the leads that you are getting as well as supporting your team and helping them succeed are the key things that we need to do.
If we want to succeed, then we have to do all these 3 things diligently. Day in and day out..
