SFI is basically where you grow and nurture a team while TripleClicks (TC) is where the real e-commerce takes place; buying and selling. However, there is inherent danger in actually trying to separate both because one complements the other.
Personally, I do not advocate you have specified time for each but that you deal with both as business interests that are dynamic in nature. For example are you going to stop work on promoting TC products because you have reached the allocated time even when there are several new and promising products and initiatives that are introduced every minute or are you going to spend all your time monitoring TC in order to attend to the dynamic nature and put work on SFI in jeopardy?
The answer is no, so you need to attend to issues as they arise or become necessary, depending on your priority or strategy in building a successful SFI business. For example an affiliate who is well experience in marketing and e-commerce may want to concentrate and spend more in TC involving marketing, while another well experienced affiliate marketer may spend more on SFI building an active team involving training and communication.The extend and time necessary to train and communicate depends on the needs and requirements of your team members.
Having said this, there are affiliates like my self who concentrate and spend time on working SFI and promoting TC because they are interwoven and inseparable to building an embracing and successful SFI and TC business. For example what is the hype of having a team if not to promote and patronize TC which is the oil that lubricates SFI as a globally recognised and successful business.
